The Thomaston Savings Bank Foundation remains committed to responding to the human and material needs of our community. Now more than ever the Foundation seeks to assist in improving the quality of life for our neighbors. In an effort to best respond to the needs stemming from the current health crisis, Phase One of the Foundation’s COVID‐19 Response Grant Cycle is now open.
Phase One of the COVID‐19 Response Grants will be considered to assist local nonprofit and government agencies who are on the front lines to prepare, rapidly respond to, and deploy resources for COVID‐19 relief. In this phase of our responsive grantmaking, the Foundation will be awarding grants to the organizations who are currently supporting basic human needs in the following areas:
- Crisis Intervention
- Food Security
- Homelessness/Housing Services
The Phase One Thomaston Savings Bank Foundation COVID‐19 Response Grant application is now available online and must be completed in full and submitted by May 24, 2020 in order to be considered for a grant. The funds you apply for must be used to benefit residents of one or more of the following towns or defined areas:
- Bristol
- Bethlehem
- Burlington
- Farmington
- Harwinton
- Litchfield/Northfield/Bantam
- Middlebury
- Morris
- Plainville
- Plymouth/Terryville
- Thomaston
- Torrington
- Waterbury
- Watertown/Oakville
- Wolcott
- Woodbury
