Thomaston Savings Bank Announces the Opening of a New Branch in Wolcott

THOMASTON, CT – Thomaston Savings Bank continues to grow as a community mutual savings bank and announces the opening of its thirteenth branch in Wolcott, CT. The Wolcott branch of Thomaston Savings Bank, located at 669 Wolcott Road, is a full service branch equipped with experienced banking professionals and offers all the convenience and service of the bank’s existing branches. This new branch includes convenient hours, a drive thru, and 24-hour drive-up ATM.

Cindy Cipriano is the Branch Manager and will be responsible for the operational and service activities of the branch. Ms. Cipriano joined Thomaston Savings Bank in 2012 as Branch Manager in Waterbury, bringing with her over 30 years of banking experience. Cindy has been recognized for her accomplishments in the Wolcott area where she continues to belong to many community organizations and serves as a volunteer mentor at the Children’s Community School in Waterbury, as a committee member for Easter Seals of Greater Waterbury, and is a member of the Waterbury Regional Chamber of Commerce. She is a resident of Waterbury, CT where she lives with her husband and two adult children.

Gabriel Sousa is the Assistant Branch Manager and will be responsible for assisting with the operational activities and customer service of the branch. Mr. Sousa joined Thomaston Savings Bank in 2016 as the assistant branch manager bringing with him six years of previous experience in the banking industry. Gabriel is active in numerous community organizations including the Professional Young Visionaries of Tomorrow (PYVOT), the Bristol Boys & Girls Club where he serves as a mentor to the Youth of the Year nominee. He is also participating in the Northwest Connecticut Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership program where he is working to implement a job shadow professional development program for Torrington High School students. Gabriel is a resident of Torrington, CT.

Patricia Clemente is the AVP/Small Business Commercial Lender and will be responsible for managing and developing commercial business including origination and loan deposit relationships in the Wolcott area. Ms. Clemente joined Thomaston Savings Bank in 2011 as an Assistant Vice President/ Business Development Officer, having over 30 years of banking experience. Along with her responsibilities at the bank, Patricia is active in several local community organizations including current Board member of the Supportive Environmental Living Facility, past Board member of the Greater Waterbury Boys & Girls Club, Acts 4 Ministry, and Watertown Chamber of Commerce Board member. Ms. Clemente is a resident of Waterbury.
