The Thomaston Savings Bank Foundation awards two grants to fund scholarships to those studying in the manufacturing industry. One grant is awarded annually to a Naugatuck Valley Community College to be used as a scholarship for a student in their Advance Manufacturing Program. The Foundation also provides an annual grant to Tunxis Community College to serve as a scholarship for a deserving manufacturing student. These grants are intended to provide support to the industry and assist with the education of future manufacturers.
