Thomaston Savings Bank Foundation, Inc. Awards $500 Grant to the Wolcott Fire Marshall to Help Fund Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detectors for the Local Community

Todd Burton, Vice President/Retail Banking and CRA Officer of Thomaston Savings Bank; and Cindy Cipriano, Assistant Secretary/Branch Manager of the Waterbury, Watertown Avenue branch of Thomaston Savings Bank presented Jim Frageau, the Wolcott Fire Marshall and Fire Chief, Kyle Dunn with a grant for $500 from the Thomaston Savings Bank Foundation to help fund the purchase of smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

The smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors will be distributed to those in need throughout the Wolcott community.

“We commend the Wolcott Volunteer Fire Department for their efforts to prevent the effects of fire and carbon monoxide incidents which help the most vulnerable citizens of the Wolcott community,” said Thomaston Savings Bank Foundation President Stephen Lewis.

“Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors save lives every day. We are grateful to the Thomaston Savings Bank Foundation for this grant which will allow us to purchase these necessary life-saving detectors to help those in need in our community,” said Jim Frageau, Wolcott Fire Marshall for the Town of Wolcott.
