Thomaston Savings Bank Names New Senior Retail Banking and Marketing Officer

Jonathan Gilbode was named Senior Vice President, Senior Retail Banking and Marketing Officer, of Thomaston Savings Bank.
Jonathan joined Thomaston Savings Bank 13 years ago and has held various positions of increasing responsibility throughout his time with the Bank. Jonathan most recently served as Vice President, Senior Operations Officer, and had been in that position since 2015. In his new role, Mr. Gilbode is responsible for the overall management and direction of the Bank’s Retail Banking division, which includes Branch Banking, Call Center and Deposit Operations, Digital Banking, Loan Servicing, Marketing and Retail Lending.

Mr. Gilbode received two Associate degrees from Naugatuck Valley Community College, one in Accounting and one in Business. He went on to earn his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Western Connecticut State University and his MBA from the University of New Haven. He is a graduate of the Connecticut School of Finance and Management and is currently attending the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Jonathan resides in Watertown with his wife, Carla, and two children.
