Thomaston Savings Bank has recently been ranked as one of Connecticut’s Top Workplaces for the 8th consecutive year by Hearst Media Group. The list of Top Workplaces, based solely on employee feedback, evaluates several aspects of workplace culture including employee engagement and satisfaction.

The Bank’s survey had a 79.3% response rate in comparison to the 73% benchmark. The higher response rate reflects the Bank’s leadership team’s commitment to encouraging employee feedback and how it ensures the company’s strong positive culture is maintained. The Bank was regarded by employees as progressive, community-oriented, friendly and rewarding.
Top Workplaces utilizes anonymous surveying to obtain employee feedback and comments about their employers. They have collected data from over 23 million surveys for more than 70,000 organizations. The Top Workplace list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC, a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution and connection.
