IOLTA (Interest on Lawyers Trust Accounts)
Created by the CT Legislature, the IOLTA program requires CT attorneys to deposit client funds into interest bearing accounts. Interest earned is automatically transferred to the Connecticut Bar Foundation and used to provide funding for legal services to low-income individuals and scholarships for law students.
