Susan Sadecki, MBA, Thomaston Savings Bank Board of Director and Corporator, was honored with the United Way of West Central Connecticut’s Spirit of Caring Award during the recent Community Builder’s Reception.
This award acknowledges Susan’s outstanding volunteerism and her unwavering care for people within the community.

Susan combines her passion for philanthropy and community collaboration with her business experience in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors. She has been an executive, program director, and consultant in the philanthropic, healthcare and human services field for over thirty years. She serves as the Immediate Past Chair of the Central Connecticut Chambers of Commerce Board of Directors, Chair of the Connecticut Council for Philanthropy Community Foundation CEO Network and a past trustee for Environmental Learning Centers of Connecticut. She serves as a volunteer for numerous nonprofit organizations and community committees including Bristol Technical Advisory Council, Bristol Technical Education Center Advisory Committee, mentor in the Bristol Public Schools, BBGC Humanitarian Dinner, BBGC Youth of the Year, Bristol’s Ending Family Homelessness Task Force, Region 10 Coordinated School Health Team, Southington Community Stakeholders Committee, Tunxis Civic Engagement Institute Community Advisory Committee, Thomaston Savings Bank Grants Committee, among others. In 2016, Susan was honored by the Exchange Club with the prestigious Golden Deeds Award.
Susan, a long-time Bristol native, currently resides in Harwinton with her husband Ronald and daughter Jenna.
