The Thomaston Savings Bank Foundation has once again implemented its Act to Impact Employee Giving Campaign. This initiative was developed to allow Bank employees to give back to the communities the Bank serves by deciding how to distribute $30,000 in Foundation grants. The employees were divided into 20 teams giving each team the opportunity to award a $1,500 onetime grant to an area non-profit. Grants were presented to the organizations over the month of December and early January.
“I am proud of the Bank’s employees for coming together and thoughtfully selecting their Act to Impact Grant recipients. The focus on basic human needs and community have really stirred all of us to award grants which will make a meaningful difference in the neighborhoods where we live and work. This year’s campaign truly gave meaning to the initiative’s moniker, Act to Impact.” – Cheryl Lindstrom, Thomaston Savings Bank, Community Outreach Coordinator
Thomaston Savings Bank is proud of its well-established Foundation and is happy to contribute to local organization’s charitable causes.
“I appreciate the opportunity to meet with the organizations our employees choose and learn about their cause. Our employees truly have a great pulse on the needs of those in our area and pick organizations that make such meaningful contributions to the lives of those in our community.” - Stephen Lewis, Thomaston Savings Bank, President and CEO.
