Awards
01/21/2025

Thomaston Savings Bank was recently recognized at the Thomaston Economic Development Commission’s 2025 Business Recognition Award Program for its commitment to bettering the community. The Bank, alongside Patti’s Place, a local diner, received citations from the Connecticut General Assembly, a certificate of appreciation from Senator Chris Murphy, and a certificate from Congresswomen Jahana Hayes.
“We are delighted to be recognized by the Thomaston Economic Development Commission, and it is a pleasure to be honored alongside Patti’s Place, a local staple and one of our very own clients. After being turned down by a big bank, Patti came to us looking for a Commercial Loan. This was not a service we offered at the time, but when we eventually branched out into the world of Commercial Lending, Patti was one of the first clients we called to share the good news. It is relationships like these that keep our community strong and connected.” – Stephen Lewis, President & CEO, Thomaston Savings Bank
The 2025 Business Recognition Award Program was hosted on January 13th, 2025, at Clocktown Brewing Company in Thomaston. The Thomaston Economic Development Commission’s mission is to organize and promote sound economic growth in Thomaston by stimulating the expansion of businesses, attracting new enterprises and assuring a favorable community climate for new ideas and economic growth while respecting the character and history of the community.
