Thomaston Savings Bank Foundation, Inc. Supports Habitat for Humanity at House Dedication in Waterbury

10/01/2016

Thomaston Savings Bank Foundation, Inc. is pleased to have supported the building of a home at 401 Berkeley Avenue in Waterbury, Conn – both financially and with volunteers from Thomaston Savings Bank.

A House Dedication Ceremony took place on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 10 a.m. where the Habitat for Humanity family partner became official homeowners.
These ceremonies are very moving events as everyone comes together to celebrate the hard work and determination of a deserving family who is realizing the dream of homeownership. The Dedication Ceremony also gave everyone a chance to thank the many people from the Greater Waterbury community who came together to help make the construction of this new home a success. Donors, volunteers, board members, committee members, Habitat for Humanity staff, and the local community all worked together to help carry out the mission of Habitat for Humanity.

“It’s an honor to be part of this Dedication Ceremony to celebrate the completion of construction of this Habitat for Humanity house, and we are pleased to present the keys to this new home to the homeowners.”
– Stephen Lewis, President and CEO, Thomaston Savings Bank
