Who Qualifies?
The CHFA Mobile Manufactured Home Loan Program offers flexible options for those buying their first home, purchasing again, or looking to refinance a manufactured home.
To qualify, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Homebuyer Status: You must be a first-time or repeat homebuyer, or an existing homeowner seeking to refinance.
- Primary Residence Requirement: The mobile home must be your primary residence. Vacation homes or investment properties are not eligible, and borrowers may not own any other real estate at the time of closing.
- Income Limits: Household income must not exceed 100% of the area median income (AMI), as defined by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
- Loan Amount: The maximum loan amount is $150,000.
- Debt-to-Income Ratio: Your total debt-to-income (DTI) ratio must not exceed 50%.
