Loan Processors

Our loan processors are an extension of your mortgage loan officer. Part of their process includes:

  • Preparing your initial disclosures
  • Reviewing loan applications
  • Evaluating applicant financial information
  • Working with our appraisal ordering department, and more.

A member of our processing team will contact you soon to gather any necessary information and keep you updated on the next steps of your application. To ensure a smooth and timely process, please respond promptly to our processor's communications and fulfill their requests as quickly as possible.

Loan Underwriters

Upon completing your review, signing, and dating the initial disclosures, expressing your intent to proceed, and submitting all required income, credit, and asset documentation, your file will be sent to underwriting for further evaluation. Underwriters will:

  • Review your application
  • Review your appraisal
  • Check all information and documentation is in order
  • Get clarification on any inconsistencies or gaps
  • Compare your financial situation against your loan's guidelines

Upon fulfilling the initial underwriting requirements, the underwriter may issue a conditional commitment outlining any outstanding items that need to be addressed by you, the bank, or your closing attorney before final approval can be granted.

If your application requires further evaluation, an adverse action notice may be issued, specifying any additional information required prior to approval. In the event your loan application is denied, the underwriter will provide a statement of denial detailing the primary reasons for credit denial or termination.

Loan Closers

Upon receiving approval from our underwriting team, your loan will be transferred to a dedicated loan closer. Our loan closers serve as the central communication point between our applicants, the closing attorney, and all parties involved in the loan closing process.

Loan closers will provide you with a preliminary closing disclosure, outlining the specific details of your loan. They are available to address any questions you may have about the closing process, ensure all parties are aligned on the timeline, collaborate with the closing attorney to provide necessary documentation, schedule closing dates, and disburse funds.
