Thomaston Savings Bank Announces Retirement of Chief Risk Officer

Thomaston Savings Bank has announced the retirement of Nancy O’Donnell, Senior Vice President, Chief Risk Officer, effective December 30^th.

Nancy was with the Bank for 14 years, beginning her career as Assistant Vice President, Compliance Officer in a department of one. She continued to grow and expand the department to include Risk, Compliance, Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering, Project Management and Information Security. Nancy oversaw nine employees assisting the Bank with regulatory approvals, project management, risk assessment and more.

Nancy began her banking career in 1982 at Bristol Federal Savings Bank. She continued to develop her banking knowledge and experience in her role of Branch Manager. She joined the newly established Valley Bank in 1998 being one of four employees. Nancy has truly had an impressive career over the last 40 years. She will be greatly missed at Thomaston Savings Bank.
