Thomaston Savings Bank has elected three new Corporators during their 2022 Annual Meeting. The Bank’s Corporators are tasked with promoting the mission, vision and value of Thomaston Savings Bank and its historic mutual charter to the community.

Dr. Amanda Nardozzi, is the Director of the Police Recertification Program for the School of Continuing Education at Post University. She has 20 years of law enforcement experience and earned her PhD in Psychology from Walden University with a M.S. in Forensic Psychology as well as earning a Master of Philosophy in Psychology and a Bachelors in Criminal Justice.

Dr. Nardozzi is involved in the community serving as commissioner for the City of Waterbury’s Board of Education and sitting on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Waterbury. She previously served on Connecticut Public as a Community Advisory Board Member, the Board of Directors of Jane Doe No More, as well as the Naugatuck Youth Services Board. She resides in Waterbury with her husband James and has three children and a stepson.

Dr. Manpuneet Singh, is the owner of Thomaston Family Dentistry in Thomaston, providing high quality dental care to his patients. Dr. Singh was born in India and after earning his dental degree, he was selected for an Advanced Placement Training at New York University where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery. He received multiple awards in recognition of his hard work and studies.   

Dr. Singh is an active member of several professional dental organizations and local dental societies that promote education and advancements in dental and oral health care. He has been an active member of the US Army Reserve Force since 2016 while also organizing and facilitating dental outreach and charity programs. Dr. Singh resides in Farmington with his wife Dr. Ritu Mohn, a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist, and his twin daughters.

Angela Chapman, is the Associate Dean of Development at Naugatuck Valley Community College providing leadership, supervision and management for the office of Institutional Advancement. Ms. Chapman is a member of the CEO’s Cabinet and serves as Chief Liaison Officer between the College and the College’s Foundation Board of Directors. In addition, she is responsible for developing and implementing annual strategic and operating advancement plans with quantifiable metrics, and targets for productivity.

Ms. Chapman is a first-generation college student earning her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Albertus Magnus College and her MBA from the University of New Haven. She is currently a Doctoral Candidate in Education Leadership at the University of Hartford. She serves on the Board of Directors of A&S Addiction Services Inc. and the Waterbury Chamber of Commerce, in addition to serving as a voting Member of the United Way of Greater Waterbury. She resides in Plainville with her husband Christopher and is the mother of three daughters.
