“We are thrilled to be able to give back to the community through our Foundation’s Grant Cycle. We look forward to the continued growth of our Foundation and further supporting these amazing organizations and their work in the community.”  – Stephen Lewis, President & CEO, Thomaston Savings Bank

The Thomaston Savings Bank Foundation was created in 1997 to distribute funds annually to a variety of local programs. Each year, the Foundation hosts a grant cycle to provide funding to organizations that are assisting the community in their respective counties. The funds are used to benefit local organizations to ensure that charitable needs are met throughout the towns which the Bank serves.

To best serve the community the Thomaston Savings Bank Foundation hosts its grant cycle in three phases: Hartford County, Litchfield County, and New Haven County. All three phases of the 2022 Grant Cycle considers applications from local nonprofit and government agencies in support of the following focus areas: arts & culture, community development, education and youth services, health and human services, and public safety.
