Kelly Crone Recognized as 2025 Northeast Woman in Banking and Mortgage

Kelly Crone, Thomaston Savings Bank, 1st Vice President, Residential Mortgage Officer, was recently named one of the 2025 Northeast Women in Banking and Mortgage. Kelly was one of nine women recognized by the National Mortgage Professional for her strong leadership and achievements in banking. The winners were honored at the New England Women in Banking Conference on January 15^th, 2025, at Mohegan Sun.

Kelly began her banking career at Center Bank Mortgage Company in June 1985 as an Underwriter. Throughout her career, she has held various underwriting and senior management positions at First Union, Wachovia, Webster Bank, and Naugatuck Valley Savings and Loan. She joined Thomaston Savings Bank in 2015, where she began as DE Underwriter, Origination Manager. She successfully spearheaded the conversion of a new loan origination system and pricing model application and was promoted to Vice President in 2020 and then to her current role of First Vice President, Residential Mortgage Officer in August of 2023.
