
Thomaston Savings Bank Announces Recent Promotions

Stephen Lewis, President and CEO of Thomaston Savings Bank, announced two recent promotions within the Bank.

Matthew Fazo was promoted to Assistant Vice President, Operations & Project Officer
Matt joined the Bank in 2013 as a Teller and has since worked in various positions throughout the Bank. He excelled in his role as Project Officer and will be expanding upon his project responsibilities in his new role. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems from Eastern Connecticut State University and completed the Connecticut School of Finance and Management program sponsored by the Connecticut Bankers Association in 2018. Matt is actively involved in the community participating in different volunteerism opportunities through local organizations including: the United Way of Greater Waterbury, Our Lady Mount Carmel School, Camp Moe, the Waterbury Regional Chamber, and the Bristol Boys and Girls Club.
Krissy Tait was promoted to Officer, Corporate Secretary.
Krissy joined the Bank in 2012 as a Teller and was quickly promoted to Accounts Payable Specialist in the Finance Department. She continued to excel in her role and transitioned into Accounting Generalist. In her new role as Corporate Secretary, she provides administrative support to the President and CEO and serves as a corporate advisor and liaison to the Board of Directors. Krissy received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a Minor in Business Administration from Post University and recently completed the Leadership Northwest Program. She is an avid volunteer in the community, participating in annual events with the United Way, Camp Moe, Thomaston Volunteer Fire Department, American Red Cross, and Relay for Life of Greater Waterbury.
