Thomaston Savings Bank Announces Recent Promotions

Stephen Lewis, President and CEO of Thomaston Savings Bank, announced two recent promotions within the Bank.

Joshua Blanchette was promoted to Assistant Vice President, Facilities Management Officer.

Josh joined the Bank in 2013 as the mail courier in the Facilities Department. He has extensive experience conducting maintenance reviews and is a skilled resource relied upon by all departments within the Bank. Josh attended Litchfield High school and was raised in Northfield, CT. He enjoys the outdoors and travels around New England competing in the NETRA and J Day Off Road Series in the A open class for dirt bike racing.

John Janco was promoted to Branch Manager.

John joined the Bank’s Commercial Lending department in 2020. He quickly advanced to Assistant Branch Manager in 2022 after spending time in servicing and credit. John is an active participant in the Bank’s Can Do Crew, a volunteer group solely made up of employees. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Cambridge College and currently resides in Torrington with his wife Ashley.
