The Banking on Justice Award recognizes a Leadership Bank for exceptional commitment to advancing access to justice in Connecticut. The Connecticut Bar Foundation created this award to celebrate institutions whose partnership strengthens civil legal aid and helps ensure that families can avoid eviction, access health care, and seek safety from domestic violence.
“We are honored to be recognized with the inaugural Banking on Justice Award from the Connecticut Bar Foundation. This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to strengthening the communities we serve by supporting access to justice and vital legal resources for those who need them most. We’re proud to stand alongside organizations working to make a meaningful difference across Connecticut — and to use our role as a community bank to help drive that impact forward.” – Stephen Lewis, President & CEO, Thomaston Savings Bank
